As the tear rolled off her face
and hit the ground with a splash
Only they did he realise
He was acting so rash
He never wanted to hurt her
He just had to let her know
He could no longer stay with her
It was his time to go
He then turned around
and walked away into the mist
Disappearing after a while
With a tightly clenched fist
Only he had the power
To make everything right
He would put an end to this war
He would mercilessly fight
Throughout all of the noise
All the screams, pops and brattle
He could still hear her tear fall
The last teardrop of battle.
A sight he was, this harbinger of woe
But as for fear my face had nothing to show.
With a towering figure and a face so white,
From the shadows looming he did dawn, during the late of the night.
He was not menacing to me in the least, but surprised he did seem to be.
He approached me calmly without haste and then pondered to me.
"Dear child," he said in a voice so serene, "you seem not suprised"
"Well, that's probably because I'm not" I replied.
"Odd you are, as most are disturbed, surprised to say the least.
When they gaze upon me they realize their time is short and their souls weak"
"I've been called weird before so it's no news
As the tear rolled off her face
and hit the ground with a splash
Only they did he realise
He was acting so rash
He never wanted to hurt her
He just had to let her know
He could no longer stay with her
It was his time to go
He then turned around
and walked away into the mist
Disappearing after a while
With a tightly clenched fist
Only he had the power
To make everything right
He would put an end to this war
He would mercilessly fight
Throughout all of the noise
All the screams, pops and brattle
He could still hear her tear fall
The last teardrop of battle.
